Our Story
Hi, My name’s Stephen Henry and I run Gaelic Mystery Kits along with my wife Jessica. We live in Armagh with our two daughters. We’re both primary school teachers by day and juggle the business with our busy family life. It’s been exciting and challenging to take the leap into the business world for the first time and it has been very rewarding so far.
How It Started
I first had the idea for the business in the summer of 2022. My friend Ciarán and I gifted each other a soccer mystery kit and loved the concept of receiving a surprise jersey in a box. I’ve loved jerseys since childhood and in particular, Gaelic jerseys; the designs and the stories they tell, how they represent your home, your community and your county. I started to do a bit of research, reached out to various jersey manufacturers and launched the website in January of 2023.
How It's Going
Since launching we have made some amazing connections with the GAA community all around the world. On social media we love to share the stories of teams by showcasing their jerseys in our weekly videos. We’ve featured jerseys from almost every continent, even sponsoring a set of jerseys for the mighty Equator Gaels in Uganda.

It’s been an exciting two years in business, we’re learning as we go and we’re looking forward to seeing what 2025 brings for Gaelic Mystery Kits.
